Our simplified advice process has been developed for clients that may have a very specific need (such as protecting a mortgage) which can be accommodated by a simple solution. We merely ask you to complete a statement of demands on our online enquiry form as detailed below
Why use the simplified advice process?
- Quicker process from start to finish
- No need to come in for a meeting
- You can upload all the required information online
How does it work?
1. Complete the enquiry form and input your mortgage details – you can choose whether you want critical illness insurance added on.
2. Our Team will then send you our service contract and quotation, along with information on your policy, such as the Key Facts Document and the Cover Details Document and a medical questionnaire.
3. Once you have approved the quotation, you will need to complete the medical questionnaire and then upload it to simplified-advice-process
4. Then upload your Gibraltar ID card and mortgage offer document
5. Our team will collect your information and process the medical questionnaire
6. Once AIG have approved your medical questionnaire and you have accepted the final monthly premium amount, we can activate your policy.
Why take out a mortgage protection policy?
Taking out a life insurance policy that protects the value of your mortgage will provide your family/beneficiaries with invaluable financial security if you were to die or be diagnosed with a qualifying critical illness. If you die with an outstanding mortgage, your family beneficiaries will be liable to either continue making the monthly repayments to your bank, or pay off the lump sum entirely. If this is not possible the bank may repossess your house. Having a life insurance policy in place will remove this burden and provide you with the peace of mind knowing that this liability will be paid for.
