Nadine joined Abacus Wealth Management Limited in 2019 as Compliance Consultant, having previously worked as in- house legal counsel for Abacus Financial Services Limited since 2013. During her time as in-house legal counsel, she worked primarily on advising on non-contentious issues arising from the firm's five core areas of practice, namely private clients, wealth management, corporate structuring and fund administration. Prior to this, having been Called to the Bar in England and Wales in 2006 and in Gibraltar in 2007, Nadine worked within the commercial department of a Gibraltar law firm before acting as a Consultant to the Authorised Administrator of two local financial services firms. She also worked as Compliance Manager for a local MiFID Cat 2 Investment Management Firm from 2011 to 2013.

Nadine carried out her legal studies at Cardiff University. She was awarded an LLB (Joint Hons) degree in Law and Spanish and subsequently completed the Bar Vocational Course. Wanting to further enhance her studies, she went on to attain an LLM in International Commercial Law. During her time as our Compliance Consultant, she has worked primarily on reviewing and updating our internal regulatory and compliance framework and controls to bring them in line with the Legislative Reform Programme spearheaded by the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission.

Nadine has been on the Executive Committee of the Gibraltar Association of Compliance Officers since 2013 and is also on the Training Committee of the Association.
