Hi there, my name is Darren Mills. You may be thinking to yourself “who are you” which would be logical if you don’t know me. For that reason, I thought I would tell you a bit about myself.

I am 49 years old and have been working in financial services for just over 31 years. I am married to Sabine (a French national) and we have a 3 year old son, Lewis who was born here in Gibraltar.

Sabine and I moved to Gibraltar at the start of 2012 after a 10 year stint living and working in the Isle of Man. Before that, we lived and worked in Jersey in the Channel Islands for 10 years. I am originally from Leicester in the UK.

We love the community feel of Gibraltar and its friendly inhabitants who have made it very easy for us to feel settled. We are very happy and feel we have found the most wonderful place in which to bring our son up. Having invested in our business and in property, we are totally committed to the rock, so bring on whatever Brexit is going to throw at us!

Back to business matters, AWML have now been trading since 21st February 2018. I would like to say a big thank you to all of the clients that have decided to trust us to look after their money. We really appreciate and value your support. Please feel free to refer any of your friends, relatives and colleagues to us, if you feel we have done a good job for you.

For anyone that has not been to see us yet, why not pop in for a coffee to see what we do and if there may be a way we can help you? We have excellent coffee and friendly reception staff! This does not oblige you to do any business with us and we won’t charge you. We will of course provide you with a copy of our client agreement that details our fees, if you do decide to work with us in the future.
